This is pretty funny.  People on here don't need to support USF teams to trash the coaches and/or the program.

The only way I see this happening is if they completely 180 this season around and win some games in conference play. That would show that it was the coach and not the players not getting the message. MBB is what it is at this point; just need to put a lot of effort into this coaching search and figure out what can make USF basketball a functioning, clean program with a culture of winning.

Most, if not all, USF basketball fans, that can, are already supporting. I don't think this is like football where you apparently have pouters not supporting because of coaches. You may attract some new USF hoops fans with maybe a certain hire but winning on a consistent basis is pretty much the only way to really bump up the support ....... and even that's not a lock.

I tend to agree - I haven't kept close track of the program lately, but it's been a while since the mid-1990's when they would regularly get 6-7k fans (or more) to show up for a home game vs decent competition. Granted it's a different media climate today, but still - some schools have the culture of excitement and winning tradition. TBH, not sure that Florida (outside of Gainesville & Tallahassee) is able to have all the ingredients for that recipe.
