One or two down seasons does not destroy that description. How many? We fell a very long ways. Stopping the falling momentum, then restoring upward development is going to be very tough. One or two down seasons does not destroy that description. As I said we're not the victim of an ebb and flow... We'll find out. We have not just has one or 2 down seasons, so far its 3 basseasons-5-7,3-9,2-10. Look at the pattern here. Actually, its 2 1/2 seasons. USF started off fine in 2011, winning the first 4 games and beating opponents (including Notre Dame) in just those 4 games by a margin of 182- 68. The offense had no issues scoring and the defense even set a record against Notre Dame, longest fumble recovery return, a school that had been playing football for 124 years at the time.
