Holy cow, that's one EXCELLENT series. It brought me back to the days when I was hooked on the old Battle Star Galactica -the original. Just great storytelling with people you care about. One of the best series ever made. Make sure you watch them in the right order. Fox really screwed up this series and didn't order them properly. Then watch the Serenity movie right after Objects In Space. Buy the DVD and watch the commentaries, etc. http://www.amazon.com/?_encoding=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&linkCode=ur2&tag=bulliesusfbul-20 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firefly_%28TV_series%29#Broadcast_history I just rewatched them all last month in a marathons session for maybe the 5th time. Brought a little tear to the corner of my eye One of the coolest things from the commentaries was the comment that the cast would hang out in the kitchen whenever they weren't on camera. You can really see how close the cast were and how much they really loved each other. Edited August 11, 2013 by charsibb

Anyway, what made me love it so much is that it is as if somebody made a series out of Star Wars -the concept of Han Solo, Luke, Leia and a few others as they carry illegal cargo from one planet to another. None of the Star Treks could achieve this, and I've seen them all. Leave it to Fox to destroy television art.

Here's an example of how much some folks loved the show. $10,000 worth of Lego pieces to build a 7-foot-long Serenity. http://io9.com/5931903/seven+foot-long-minifig+scale-serenity-model-is-a-lego-masterpiece Found here. While it's technologically advanced, it feels like it happened a while ago.

Ten years after cancellation, the Browncoats are stronger than ever. Says a lot

Plus, the odds are always heavily against them but they keep going.
