Thought we could just combine all the games this weekend into one thread. The four teams this weekend are USF, NC State, Coastal Carolina, and Tennessee.

Lindsey Richardson is on the mound for this game and through 2 innings has 4 strike outs.

Bulls could not convert in the Bottom of the 7th with a runner on third. Going into extras with the wolfpack. Tied at 0

Bulls manufacture a run in the bottom of the 8th.

Should be Game Over, Bulls win 1-0, but the LiveStats site hasn't acknowleged that yet. (or are we playing 9 innings anyway?)

Game is over we won 1-0, the live stats link is a bit slow it appears, but the Bulls did win the first game of this tournament.

Game two is against coastal carolina which begins in about 30 minutes.

Looks like Tenn is the team to beat.  Dismantled both C. Carolina (8-0) and NC State (7-0)

We play them tomorrow at 1:15

 

Saw the C. Carolina team having a pre-game lunch at Perkins next to USF

They ride down the entire way wearing their uniforms?  Not sure how comfortable that is.

Game two has already started, Coastal Carolina Scored on a wild pitch in the top of the first. CC up 1-0 right now in the bottom of the first.

Is offense going to be a problem for this years team? Pitching looks great so far.

Medina with a big single down the right side scoring two! Bulls up 2-1 Bottom 3.

As for the scoring comment, scoring will improve as the season goes on. We have a few new bats to the lineup this year so expect us to improve as we keep playing and finding the right line up. Just know that our pitching will be carrying the load in most of our games this year
