You cannot say that about these so called power conferences ACC - 1 team with only 6 wins, two teams with only 7 winsBig 10 - 1 team with a 6 - 6 recordBig 12 - 1 team with 5 - 4 record, 1 team with 6 - 5 recordPac 12 - 1 team with a 4 - 8 recordSEC - 1 team with 4 - 6 record, 2 teams with 5 - 7 record, 1 team with 5 - 6 record This conference shuffle is driven by football and football TV dollars, and it is a shame that these conference moves have destroyed the tradition of Big East basketball. This was a conference of basketball powerhouses, and any team in the top half of the standings has a chance of winning the conference title and competing in the NCAA's. All of the teams are firing on all cylinders this season, and I predict a competitive season of Big East conference play. I just hope USF can maintain the momentum from last years' NCAA run. It was a great, historic run even if it was too short. Edited December 30, 2012 by HarveyGlass
