Help a Notre Dame fan? I don't think so.

It's not about who he roots for......Bama fans have already raised over $1300 for the young man.

Wow. That is a pretty distasteful comment.

What can I say? ND sucks!

Heartless, maybe, but I wouldn't call it distasteful. I feel for the kid because of the disease he's enduring but I certainly wouldn't donate just to get him to a football game ... and with the millions, if not billions, of dollars out there with Irish grads, boosters, etc, their trip should have already been taken care of.

I'm not running out to donate money to this kid. There are lots of worthwhile places that I donate money to. But I would not make the fan the kid is a fan of my criteria whether I donate or not. Who they are a fan of has nothing to do with whether this story is "worthy" of attention.

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
