If what you say about not playing for a bowl game is true, that says an awful lot about the competitive nature and attitude of Skip. Most successful coaches, at any level, hate to lose at anything.

Very indicative statement about why he doesn't go off on refs and why he doesn't turn up the intensity when necessary.

That statement tells me in his world its about simply playing a friendly game. Not about wins and losses.

Sounds like Skip and crew were going through the motions.
