Fallen Hero Escort This Morning Army SSgt. Matthew S. Sitton of Largo will arrive at MacDill AFB on this morning at 10:10 a.m., with the honor escort leaving the base at around 10:50 a.m. Please come out along the route and show your support of our fallen hero. The route that the escort will take is as follows: Leave MacDill AFB Bayshore Gate North on Bayshore Boulevard East on Platt St. Bridge North on Florida Ave. East on Jackson St. North on N. Jefferson St. East on Twiggs St. North on Channelside Drive East on SR 60 North on 22nd Street West on I-4 South on I-275 West on Ulmerton Rd. North on Indian Rocks Rd. N. End at Hubble Funeral Home, 499 N. Indian Rocks Rd. Incredible the amount of people that lined the streets. Nothing groundbreaking, but every one hundred yards or so I saw a group of 2 families, and it was extremely consistent. I drove from Indian Rocks Rd. to Ulmerton and Belcher, and actually had no idea what it was. At first, I thought it was a presidential protest or campaign. However, I saw a sign that read something along the lines of "Thank you Matt Sitton and you're family". But, Ulmerton was lined up with families and there were a decent amount as far west as Indian Rocks and Westbay. Also, quite a few Ambulance's and Firetrucks with some groups, not sure if they were there in support or just to help move everything along smoothly. The support was very nice, and I know the Sitton family appreciated it. RIP Mr. Sitton, and thank you. I thought it may have been something to do with maybe a piece of the Towers because of all the law enforcement and fire department representation. Here's a crappy pic of what they saw coming off the Howard Frankland onto 688.

USF should defiantly have a moment of silence for SSgt. Sitton before the UTC game. +
