Pitt will be buried in the ACC. Biggest mistake Miami ever made was leaving BE.

Yes, but both schools make more money sucking in that conference. Let's see if the new TV deal we can swing with Boise, Houston, SMU, SDSU, UCiF, and whoever else comes in like Navy et al, the Big East can take a little sting off that statistic.

I think for both them and VT it has been a net negative. Pitt will fare even worse. They were one of the big dogs in the BE and will be an also ran in the ACC, just like Maryland or NC State. Same goes for West Virginia in their move. They'll be K-State's equal. Looks good against weak opponents and falls apart most years against Texas, Oklahoma, OK State, etc. West Virginia is trading BCS Bowls for Pinstripe Bowls.

i get what you're saying, but just wanted to make you aware that k-state pretty much has owned texas's azz since they joined the B12 (they are something like 6-2 agst TX since the B12 was formed). and k-state has actually been a lot more successful in the B12 than they get credit/recognition for, simply because their name isnt oklahoma, texas, or nebraska.

and wvu is trading in for a lot more money, whether they get BCS bowls or not (and i think the likelhood of a second BCS team in the B12 is far better than the BE, which will struggle simply to maintian its AQ status, let alone worry about sending two teams). and wvu will probably a serious boost in recruiting that isnt possible with "Big East" after your name, so I think in a few years they will be more successful than most are giving them credit for. i fully expect wvu to struggle/suck for a year or two (in FB - in BB we will be competitive immediately) as they transition into the B12, but I also think they will get up to speed.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
