we need BJ in there, even if he's throwing short passes and running a lot.

hallelujah! Whomever starts at quarterback will have some good targets with Love and Griffin back. I hope BJ is healthy enough to play and give us a chance. Whatever you say about his throwing accuracy (which there is plenty to be said), he does provide the run option threat which defenses must set up for. This in turn opens up the coverage a bit.
