Grothe is leaps and bounds ahead of Hill as a passer and has a much better shot of competing for the job next year.everyone is so giddy over Hill they keep forgetting Grothe was runnerup Mr. Football to arguable one of the top 5 recruits in the COUNTRYGachette is a WR

People here sometimes forget he was ranked the #5 QB coming out of HS.

All I know is there is going to be a great battle for QB and may the best man win and the rest of the chips fall as they may. I think we can be assured Gachette is out of the mix. I like Pat J, but my hope is that he gets beaten out at QB. His confidence has just taken a beating out there. Being able to have success running the ball w/Hall will enable Grothe to be successful as starter as he is likely the most polished of our QBs and has been the only one playing in a pass oriented offense against high level HS competition. I don't think he will be as likely to keep it and run as he was in HS based strictly on the speed difference between HS and college. Shouldn't matter though. I just really can't wait to see what these guys can do! Regardless, today is one of those days that it's great to be a BULL!!!! These types of days have been too few and far between as of late.
