I'm surprised they have to resort to the free food gimmick, do they no longer have a season ticket waiting list of 46,789,543,118?

Don't you have bigger problems right now than taking needless shots at the Bucs ....?  :D

although the bucs are hurting for ticket holders....this was a pre-season only thing

every team in the league is having trouble getting fans to come to pre-season games

What's amazing is that almost all the folks working in the concession stands at Ray Jay serving the drinks and hot dogs etc. are volunteers.  Most of the stands are manned by groups of parents for groups like high school booster clubs and other youth groups which are there to raise money for their charity or clubs.  I think the volunteer groups are paid something like a 3% cut of sales at the stands they operate.

this is for inside the club level though.  the people who work the concessions in the club level are paid employees.

All the people working any of the stands (minus the bar area in club) are volunteers including the club level stands, The supervisors and the chefs that do some of the cooking in those stands are the only paid employees. When your organization does well and shows up as they are supposed to you get an inside club level stand (A/C is a great bonus when you are working for pennies!!)
