Didn't grothe play Safety in HS in addition to QB?

During his Senior year, pretty sure he was almost always under center ... GrothE is a QB only type of guy as was Blackwell ...

Best case:

Denson and Julmiste have great Spring and Fall practices with one a clear cut winner  AND Hill & GrothE RS . . .

Go BULLS !!!

jAs long as we're going down that road, better case scenario:

Julmiste breaks out and has a great year. Leads us to the Big East championship and the Orange Bowl.

Denson switches to safety and has 7 int's and is 4th on the team in tackles for the best defense in the Big East

Hill redshirts and switches to receiver

Grothe redshirts and develops

Perriloux backs up Julmiste this year before winning the job next year. He has 2 Heisman years before entering the NFL draft and handing over the reigns to Grothe who makes All-American both years he starts and wins 2 national championships.

Not bad, eh? ;)

ET, i remember an article that said the threw for scores and intercepted a ball in the same game... perhaps that was his junior year, but i thought it was his senior.

id call them about even.... IMO, Hill is a better athlete, but Ingram was a better passer by default since Hill is still pretty raw as a passer

I still don't know if anyone will beat out Julmiste by the spring game... but i don't think it would take very long into the season.
