Even minus the turnovers, I think we would have lost simply because of depth.

I agree. I think UF's depth would have worn down USF's starters and they would have won anyways.

This is a far-flung hypothetical.  Who knows.  This I do know:  Our D would have been more rested entering the 4th quarter, the UF crowd would have stayed quiet (as they were for 29 minutes of the first half), and our attitude would have been quite different.  Would that high have carried us for the half--maybe, but we might have needed a little luck in there too.  But, hey, some of those turnovers were just unforced errors, but UF's D has to get credit for some of them, too.
