Like other prospects, maybe he'll change his mind after we beat UF.  ::)

Old news... He switched his commitment from TTU to UF back on June 9th..

Hopefully UF keeps landing some of their big WR/ATH targets like Damiere Byrd and Savon Huggins and we can steal McRoy away on signing day ;)

I feel that McRoy is far from a solid commit. He already decommited from TTU because of location even though his brother Ben is there. He's waiting it out lik Shark said and now that we have Patton on our coaching staff we might start getting a little Lakeland High School love. The staff is still on McRoy HARD so I wouldn't be surprised. This kid is a rocket with good hands!

Shark. Didn't you say that the USF coaches were the only coaches that called to check on Story after his little altercation with the law last week? If so how far do you think the little things like that go with Ju' Juan? Do the coaches still need to work on a certaiin uncle instead of Ju'Juan?

True.. what is the story on Patton??

Yep. It sure doesn't hurt.. but Ja'Juan is as solid a commit as they come. There is a lot of outside influence as well though like you said.

It really isn't very likely..

UF does continue to recruit several high profile WR targets though. Ya never know man.. signing day is far off.

I don't think that there is any real story on Patton. Just applied and got it. I live here in Lakeland and my sign shop does quite a bit of LHS stuff for the team as well as retail outlets here in Lakeland. I don't have any team connections but, my buddy that does all of the athletics screen printing for LDS do. I'll see if I can't find out from him. Only problem with him is that he's a LHS grad and a UF alumn....lol. Really good dude though. He's one of the 1% that the other 99% of UF fans make look bad!!! lol
