yeah, sucks for them. anytime the padres get good pitching, it's traded off quickly LOL dunno what the mets excuse is.

great game by garza though. nice way to start an 11 game homestand. i was glad a-roid didn't do #600 last night, or else the no-no wouldn't be mentioned in the news at all. i'd have loved for him to throw the no-no against the yanks though hehe.

let's hope we can come through with a good homestand and win at least 2-3 against the yankees and gain some ground. i'd love to see a 7-4 or 8-3 homestand.
