a loss to UF means 25-30k tickets distributed.

That's not a lot for a BCS school.

Also take in stake that like 15-20% of those tickets don't ever show up.

Not at all.... There will be 25k season tickets distributed, most likely. Add on 10k students (even if we lose to UF, unless it's a huge blowout), and a couple thousand walk ups.

A loss to UF will not impact our attendance that badly. If we get off to a good start in Big East play, then the crowds will be there.

The key to our season its ONCE again on a thursday night game followed by a Friday night game at Cincy.

Win those two and we should be at worse6-1 and 3-0 in Big East and fans will pack RJS. Lose those two and we would be 4-3 and in another midseason tail spin.

We would have to break our thursday night jinx and end the losing streak with Cincy.

Cuban certainly did nail it. I think if we get one of those 2 road games and hold serve until the Pitt game we'll have packed house.

We've never started the Big East with a 2-0 record. Hope that changes this season.
