New site testers needed

We need a good number of guys to organize for stress testing the new server.  Please send me an email at bulliever@southfloridabulls.com or a board IM with your email address.  We will select a date/time to stress test the new board.  I will email that out to our testing crew once we have enough guys and the site and Velcro are ready (which I think is very very soon).

it is very important to find out that this new site can handle heavy traffic.  If it isnt' tested by enough people, a busy day like Signing day could bring down the site... which would be horrible... so please, if signing day is as addictive to you as it is me, please help out if possible.

I think this site should be able to handle heavy load, but we won't know without this stress test.

we will have a schedule time for testing, and that testing will basically be everyone that volunteers going onto the site and posting as much as they can, using every function they can for a given period of time.

If the site handles it fine, we'll be transferring the main site to that the next day.

That is about as scripted as it will get.

We want it to be as random as possible, with heavy traffic, if at all possible.

Every volunteer we can get will help prove the integrity of the new site and help guarentee stability on signing day and other important days.

simple!

1) Create a fake site with some 'stuff' about the lizards.

    (Ask the Sheriff for ideas!)

2) a few posters run over to the lizard's nest and leave a trail to the new site --not this site!

Repeat with the noles and the 'canes -and maybe with the gnats too.

---maybe kick out 'guest' posting on this site to be safe. Yeah, I'll volunteer to be locked out. No problem.
