I found the following pretty hilarious. I don't know that two people can give more dissimilar evaluations of a player. This one happens to be on Anthony Davis.

Known to abhor the weight room at Rutgers and rely far too much on his natural ability, Davis showed up at the Combine looking sloppy-bodied and overweight. At 323 pounds, he clocked above 5.4 in the 40 on some watches and managed only 21 reps of 225 pounds, the least of any of the top four tackles who grade out the highest in the draft on tape.

Raiders owner Al Davis loves big linemen and has a special place for East Coast guys. Anthony Davis impressed at the combine and needs a push to reach his full potential.

I know most of us here take it with a grain of salt (::)), but found it interesting nonetheless. Happily, I haven't seen much conflicting stuff regarding our guys out there.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
