USF has only played Syracuse at Noon -- all four times.

Also, this game will be on TV - it's a Big East game. 

Moreover, this is the only game on October 9th between two big east teams:

* Memphis @ Louisville

* Miami, OH @ Cincy

* UNLV @ West Virginia

* Pitt @ Notre Dame

Yeah, weird. I know the homecoming game is supposed to be a sure win, but does Woolard think putting homecoming as our fifth game of the season and our conference opener is better than losing the homecoming game to Pitt at home in November?

November 13 is a bit late for homecoming.

Homecoming 2009 was the Louisville game on Nov. 21.

So no, Nov 13 would not be too late. It's actually the perfect game to do it. Because it won't be too hot and Pitt will draw a large crowd.
