Matt Lubick takes Duke job

It may not ring any bells now, but Matt Lubick just took a position on the Duke staff, leaving the Arizona State staff. Matt has been recognized as one of the top recruiters in the country from Rivals for the last three years. You may remember that back in 2006 he was instrumental in recruiting Dexter McLuster (Largo) and Dan Mosley (Hillsborough High) to Ole Miss. I have a feeling that he is going to be recruiting heavily in the Tampa/Jacksonville area for Duke. Not sure if Duke is really a threat from a recruiting standpoint right now, but I would think that Matt is going to create a presence down here. Coach Holtz really needs to build a fence around Tampa so we can keep recruits home.

Won't be that big of a threat really.  How many kids can actually sign with Duke we'd be head to head on?  Now, if we shows he can get kids that can get into Duke WITH the ability, then we need to hire him away and that shouldn't be too hard as Duke will never have the potential of USF in football...
