I do believe he was implying that Dungy was there to be the "token" minority interview.... when that clearly wasn't the case with both Calvin Magee and Doug Williams getting an interview of some kind (formal, informal, whatever).

Lane Kiffin was out of Knoxville and in L.A. pretty qucikly unless they interviewed OJ via the telephone USC didnt comply

So, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a rule stating that a school must interview an african-american candidate for their coaching position?

I thought I heard this last year amongst Auburn's search for a HC.

If this is true, who have we brought in?

While the Roony rule does not apply to NCAA programs.

However, USF and other State Universities has a strict diversity rule that forces every department to interview X amount of minority candidates for every so many non minority candidates...
