With all the turnover at UF now any chance some of those players like Matt Elam decommit from UF and choose us?  Thoughts?

Doubtful.  Most of UF's recruits will stay with UF because they will believe that UF can win with the next coach also.

Kids who have not committed may not choose UF, but we're not head-to-head for many (maybe 1?) this year.

They recruit on a totally different tier than USF so the impact on our recruiting will be almost non existant.  The only prospect i see directly affected by this is Darrin Kitchen who we are on and was just personally offered by Meyer a week or so ago.  Other than that they are recruiting kids that don't even have USF on their radar and are looking are premier programs.

Its been downgraded to a leave of absence, minimizing any negative impact on recruiting. They'll probably keep most of the commits they got. Maybe 1-2 leave

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
