Some thoughts from the FACA All-Star Game that was on Tuesday..

Brion and Ace looked pretty good as usual.

Nickell Robey from Frostproof was the game MVP - 2 ints and a forced fumble.

The North had a DB from Trinity Christian that I thought was pretty good..

Kiebler was part of the much superior O-line that the South team had.

And most of all Tevin Drake was the best **** RB there

Amy idea if Drake is thinking about walking on at USF? I'm surprised we recently offered a JUCO RB, considering all the RB's already coming in this small class.

No, defintely not going to be walking on anywhere - especially onto a team that can't seem to use it's current RBs.

His only planned visit is Western Michigan. His big mistake has been passing up 2 sure things in Miami and then Minnesota.

Hopefully some more offers come along soon. The sad thing is that schools that have been recruiting him for a while still have players left higher on their board than Tevin.

Oregon for example has had their eye on Tevin for a couple of years but are still quite close to possibly getting Lattimore and Seastrunk. If both of them pass up the Ducks... just maybe Tevin will get an offer. It is still early - plenty of action will be ahead in the recruiting world.
