USF should at least have a women's swim team.  Florida is a hotbed of talented swimmers.  USF could put together a championship team just with swimmers from Tampa Bay area.

Swim team, not hooters team!  The girl in the picture has too much drag to be a competitive swimmer; swimmers need to be streamlined.

My son is a freshman swimmer for his high school.  He'd love to go to USF, but he wants to go somewhere that has swimming.

It is a lot easier for girl swimmers to find college teams to swim on and get athletic scholarships than boys with Title IX.  For example in Florida, UNF and FGCU have women only swim teams--no mens.

I don't know how close to full Title IX compliance USF is; just throwing a bunch of girls on the cross country team and giving them a pair of running shoes might not fully cut it.  If USF needed to add a women's athletic team--swimming would be a good one.
