It was a blast. It rained for maybe not even 5 minutes, and stopped. Then clouds were over head the entire day for nice shade. Good times.

I think he says obvious things like that otherwise a certain reporter will insinuate he doesn't believe the long balls to have been a problem for the defense last year.  McMurphy likes to portray him as a clown, most know he's much smarter and likes to joust a bit too.
