NCAA Football 10 Season Showdown - Represent!

If you have NCAA 10 for X360 or PS3, I hope you've signed into the Season Showdown mode to help out USF. You earn points for your school by playing (and winning) games against the computer and online, showing off your skills, beating teams that are better than you, and showing some sportsmanship, i.e., running out the clock when you're up 45-7 instead of gunning for the end zone again. To give you an idea of how important this is, UF has lost twice as many points in sportsmanship than USF has earned in the entire game.

Once the season begins, you can play games against that week's real-life opponent and pile up points that way. Wins and losses are also assigned based on which team scores the most Season Showdown category wins. (There's also a trivia game on EA's Web site to add some more points.)

The goal is to get your team into the top 32 by the end of the season, at which point EA will take over and set up a playoff to see who the Season Showdown champion is. Right now USF is somewhere in the low 40's, so there's some work to do.
