At least, to hear this author tell it, Vandy and Northwestern may be making more from the SEC and Big Ten, respectively. The article is mostly justification for ND joining the Big Ten.

I hope the Big 10 "raids" the Big East and "steals" Notre Dame... they can have them. The only problem would be that Syracuse would most likely bolt with them and thus that would damage the Big East yet again. The Big 10 won't want Pittsburgh because Penn State would not stand for it; they may take Rutgers but that possibility is still less then Syracuse because Syracuse is a "storied and historic" program.

If, and it is a big if, the Big Ten "Eleven" expands, they will only take one team to make it a conference of 12 teams.
