All through the lackluster first half I was thinking of how exciting USF football used to be.  The way we would continuously stretch the field on offense and then stop the opponent cold with our speedy defense.  We used to joke on this board that Buc fans should come to Ray Jay on a Saturday night if they want to see scoring.

Inside hand-off after inside hand-off, I was becoming more and more frustrated last night – even though we were very much in the game.  Then, all of the sudden, Julmiste lets one fly and what do you know?  He connects, we score, our team comes alive on both sides of the ball (although, admittedly, our D was already having a pretty good game).

I'm not a Julmiste fan, but it seems to me that he has the most touch when he goes up top.  For the most part, if he misses - he misses long (which is a good thing, since we no longer have a 6'-5" wide-out to go up and get an under thrown ball).  Stretch the field and Hall will run all over our opponents.

Thank you Bulls for bringing the excitement back!!!!!  Now, let’s keep it.

Is he?  Wow.  He sure doesn't have the presence that Huey seemed to have.

He's a true freshman. Give him some time to develop.

No offense to Huey, but I believe Peyton will be at least two times better when all is said and done. This kid is our blue chipper that may have woke up against UAB. Watching the MEMPHIS game against UL, I expect Peyton and Chambers to have big games when Memphis comes to town.

Memphis seems to have problems against the pass but plays pretty well aganst the run.  Doesn't bode well for us.

Thats because Huey was 6-5 225-230 and Peyton is 6-5 185.  However, JP will be a much better wr than Huey was.
