Judge Orders Assets Frozen in Chimp Attack Case

Attorneys for the family of a Connecticut woman attacked in February by a friend’s chimpanzee have convinced a judge to freeze $10 million of the owner’s assets. Charla Nash suffered traumatic brain injury and the loss of her hands, nose, lips and eyelids after her friend Sandra Herold asked for help getting her pet chimp back into her house. The lawsuit seeks as much as $50 million in damages and may add the state or the city of Stamford as defendants.  Mark Spencer, Hartford Courant  05/06/2009

Ok.

Word was that the chimp owner had not a pot to piss in.
