Why does that matter?

I simply do not understand why people think that small towns like Boise or Gainesville or Lubbock or others draw crowds because "there is nothing else to do"...

That is not why schools draw crowds.  People don't sit around wondering what to do in their podunk town, so they decide to head down to campus for the game...

Hell most of these schools' fans and alumni live all over and actually drive to the small town specifically for the games.

USF fans in Tampa -- who aren't alumni -- may get introduced because they want something to do... but don't equate that with more established programs...

The availability of entertainment alternatives has NOTHING to do with the size of a crowd at a college football game when the school has been playing football for more than one generation.

green shirts look green on tv.  I will wear green to every game because everyone should and it looks better than gold.

kinda hard to get a cotton shirt a real shade of "gold."

it usually ends up yellow, olive or some odd shade of light brown.

****, people have argued for YEARS on this forum that we can't even get the gold right on our uniforms or helmets, i doubt it would be possible to get the fans to wear gold shirts that actually look like one unified mass in the stands [which is basically the point of a "insert-color-here out"]

green-out should definitely be a priority first.  until we can coordinate our fans--- especially the old turds that show up in their off-color golf gear, tropical colored tommy bahama shirts or bingo outfits--- enough to wear green, all other colors are moot.
