By sucking that bad!  I am really hoping they don't have the $ this year to be "the official paper."  They are such a joke.

The Athletic Program could use the money.

I agree but hopefully the Times will step up.  The Fib's budget for extra things like being USF's "official newspaper" is probably shrinking.

the st petersburg times is already paying a little under 3 million a year to have their name on the lightning stadium.  with their revenues dropping as well, i cant imagine they have a huge amount of additional sponsorship money.
