I disagree

He was easily the best defender and probably passer too. He and Jesus are one of the few guys that seem to care about playing hard for 40 minutes. Even we are not very good we needed him for sure. Our team athleticism takes a huge hit as well.

I disagree

Anybody with an ounce of basketball knowledge would disagree ..... He already had the 4th highest ppg avg and would have been great to come in and spell DoJo/Zeus in conf play. Now it's going to fall to two true freshmen in Leeemow and Daniels.

Add to that the ability to drive down the lane, which our other PG's do not seem so willing to do.

Now I agree with what you said. I'd also say that Jones played awesome tonight and very inspired. USF will need that type of Jones going hard throughout the Big East season.

I might be able to enjoy the Big East season regardless because I'll get to see it on my soon to arrive Sony Bravia 52" KDL52V4100 1080p LCD HDTV

Ouch... that one does hurt.  I was wondering why Leemow got the start.  We are going to need him playing with all the confidence he can get.
