this game really made me think that.  we're just not good.  we have so much potential, but it doesn't translate onto the field like it should.  we had absolutely NO SENSE OF URGENCY...down by 14 in the 4th and they run down the clock to under 10 seconds every time like they're up by 14.  they just seemed like they were checked out and had no desire to win or to try their very best.

something just needs to be shaken up in this program.  it's just pathetic how much we've worsened.  gregory should be fired tonight, but i know that won't happen.  grothe needs to be the leader he should be, motivate the team instead of sitting on the bench when he's not playing...hurry up the offense and call your own plays if you need to.  someone just needs to step up and do something.

no one says they need to go to the NC, but this was their year to win the Big East, we can't just go 9-4 every single year, and 4-3 in the BE every year and be content with that.  there needs to be progression and it's been the opposite.

As someone mentioned before, we are playing, and starting, much of our CUSA recruits.  These are guys that didn't have the mindset of playing for a big time college program much less a title contender when they committed.  I think the accomplishments expected of these walk-ons and D-2 caliber players is too much.  Look forward to a bright future though.

i know...i'm just hoping for a win against Rutgers, UConn, or WVU, but that's looking a little unlikely if we keep playing and coaching like we did tonight.

yes, there IS talent on the team.. but our roster isnt head and shoulders above the other teams in our conference like those who always downplay are recruiting rankings always claim.

WE ARE NOT head and shoulders above anyone else in the big east.. our fans need to realize that.  we need to start competing for and landing the big time recruits.  i mean, we've always said it was a big advantage to be located in the heart of florida, but why the hell are we not tapping into these resources?

dude, are u serious?  CUSA was WAY too long ago.. people stopped using that excuse like 2 years ago.  all these guys (the seniors and the juniors who came in with grothe) were recruited when we accepted our big east invite.

We are good... we may not be NC contenders but we CERTAINLY are not a 1-3 team in the BE after 4 games.

Looking at the scores, that is exactly what we are.
