Tajh Boyd

Dual-threat quarterback

Hampton (VA) Phoebus

Ht: 6-foot-1

Wt: 208 lbs

Forty: 4.7 secs

Vertical: 24 inches

Shuttle: 4.4 secs

GPA: 2.8

Class: 2009 (High School)

Anyone know anything about him and what our chances may be?

4 star... #3 ranked dual threat QB overall... would be a huge pick-up...

He originally gave a verbal to WVU and recently decommitted. He reportedly didn't like the way they were running their spread offense. I don't think our chances are good in getting him.

I think that I read somewhere that he was looking towards Rich Rod also. 4.7 forty seems a bit slow for a dual threat QB... :-\

After he decommitted both USF and FSU started to recruit him again. He's visiting Tenn this weekend.

Key visitor: UT is looking to lock up Tajh Boyd this weekend. The four-star, dual-threat quarterback from Hampton, Va., will be in town today for an official visit and will attend the Alabama game. Boyd (6-1, 208) is ranked No. 3 in the nation as a dual-threat quarterback and has narrowed his list to UT, Oregon, Boston College, Virginia Tech, Louisville and Virginia.
