We have done some of that.  To do more would require some PHP programming I believe.  We've got some of that in our collective resumes, but not sure how much we can really do.  I think the fact that the board search feature defaults to searching all boards instead of one board also creates a problem as many will simply search all when unnecessary.  If we could better control the searches, we'd get better results.

Not sure how much programming it would take, but another forum I'm on actually does have a list of the individual boards on their forums that you can select individually to search
