I agree with King Bull.  The offensive surprise will be Jamar Taylor breaking out and leading the Bulls in rushing.  Sure, Mike Ford has the most potential for success, but I think Jamar will be hungry -- wanting to take the lead role.  Expect to see him break out with a tremendous performance against Kansas that cements his starting position.

On defense, the surprise will be Jarrett Buie.  With George Selvie garnering most of the attention, Buie will have a field day.  He's being pushed by David Bedford, so his focus this year will be far better than last year.  He knows if he slips up, he will lose his starting role.  Once Buie becomes a known quantity, with a breakout game against Pitt, then USF will see an amazing transformation on defense.  Despite losing Jenkins, Williams, Moffitt, and Clebert, I think the defense is actually better this year.  We may even see a shutout.

Well I'm not predicting that Taylor takes over starting RB because I do believe that Mike Ford is that good barring injury.  But I think that Taylor could see more PT than Ben especially towards the second half of the season.  I just think he'll become a truly excellent change of pace.

Sounds like all good opinions to me. My only question is Love having a breakout season? I think he will do great, but how much can be do in our system. I think you will see Bogan and Mitchell be the "it" factor at WR when TJ doesn't get the ball. On Defense I chose Kion Wilson. Im praying this foot injury was not as serious and instead of SJ beating out CR, I hope KW takes over Middle and allows Mckenzie to slide back over. Kion Wilson is a beast, I just hope he gets healthy.

Any word on him?

The thing is McKenzie is at MLB to stay now, for this season.  from all reports the staff have no intention of moving him back to OLB, to keep continuity.  MLB is too important of a position.  I think Wilson will get some minutes behind McKenzie but I get the feeling Sabbath Joseph comes on like a freight train.  They say he's a gym rat with McKenzie and Mompremier, tight with Mompremier, and has really become a student of the game- unlike CR.  I think CR's natural ability keeps him in the race, but Joseph is to much of a specimen to keep off the field now.  He's ready at a minimum to be splitting time with CR.

AJ Love, I suppose when I meant break-out he's going to have a 15-20 catch season and set himself up for a big next season.

that would be good. I don't mean it as a knock to either Sabbath or CR. I like the fact we have both of those options along with the beast Kion. The linebackers will have no problem this year. The most athletic group of linebackers possibly in the country.

Yes then I agree Love will do great. Our wr's don't get really pad their stats but I think we might see one guy this year get the bulk of the work and it could be Mitchell or TJ...Why I can't say it will be a wide reciever is the fact that we really don't give it to one guy.

This goes without saying because he asked the coaches for the ball more this year but obviously Cedric Hill. I think he will be a beast this year. I get excited just thinking of how good we are. I thought we were good when I came to usf in 03 and we won the 4? overtime games and that was a record in a season and I rushed the field. I thought we were good then lol.
