If the Pirates get that much in return, they are making out like bandits...

that is quite a haul for a decent, but not great, player.  Yes, he made the all star game, when the game was in pittsburgh... every team has to send at least one anyway.... I just don't like this... i'd rather have Manny's bat and whining any day than Bay. 

Like I said, Tampa stays status quo, and Manny leaves the sox = Tampa making playoffs one way or another.

That is quite a good question.  I think he'd be on good behavior for the rest of this season... but after that... ???

I'm perfectly happy with the deal falling through.

well if he comes to the Marlins its only for the rest of this season. We wont give him a 4 year 100 million dollar contract. I cant say id be upset if it happens, but i wouldnt be thrilled either. If Hermedia goes who plays RF for the Fish?
