The three-point arc is being moved a foot farther from the basket -- to 20 feet, nine inches.  The Bulls will be in position to be a better team around the basket than rely on guys chucking from long ditance.  The three-point arc being moved back will decrease 3-point shooting percentages and put a premium on teams that can move the ball and score in the post.  Coach Heath has done a good job of getting the Bulls into a position of success based on the rule change.

Dominique Jones is definitely our 3pt shooter and Verdejo did pretty well at the end of the season.

Belardo, Jones, Verdejo, and Akol are our best 3pt shooters on this up coming season's team.Gilchrist can step out there at times as well and knock it down, but we don't want him getting to comfortable out there.

We add two bombers in Shaun Noriega and Jordan Dumars for the '09-2010 season with the possibility of adding another SF or Big Guard that can also shoot the rock along with other key skills.

So Vega, are you saying that Mercer is not a deep threat?  I know you love his game, so I was just wondering.  Is his thing penetrating then?  I do not think I ever saw him play at UGA, so I am curious about his game.  Thanks.
