I heard that Akol took his test June 7th. Does anybody know how long it takes to find out the results?

He seemed confident that he would pass.

I'd at least hope that we could get Gilchrist OR Akol eligible to play this coming season. If we could somehow get both, then we might be able to finish in the top half of the Big East.

I disagree wholeheartedly.

Howard is the man... and if he keeps the job when Mercer is eligible, that means our record will be excellent at that point.   The only way Mercer takes over the job is if Howard struggles... and I don't see that happening and you shouldn't want that to happen.

Looks good to me but I think CSH may want to start both Akol and Gilchrist.  One at PF and the other at C.  They are both natural PF anyway.  I also think that Ajayi has a position to lose(which he may) since he played well for us last year.  As far as Mercer, he has a position to win.  I don't think of him as our initial starter but if he plays and practices well that he could become a starter. 

Lets remember that we could have potentially 8 new players eligible next season and that the starters may shift thoughout the year depending on who CSH considers is the best player after seeing them in action.

I like what you are saying about both Akol and Gilchrist, but I think you are going to be surprised by Espinosa.  I still think he is the 2nd best catch in this group of 8 incoming players.  He is a natural PF.  Very strong kid.

I wouldn't say that I'd be surprised about Espinosa because i'm on the same page as you are about him.  I'm just going with my gut instinct.

Isn't it great to have so many players that could possibly start for us?  I love this!
