Paper: Man hit with ax, robbed of $10 billion

Here's a headline from The Herald that we just had to pass along: "Man struck with an axe, robbed of $10bn."

That's $10 billion in Zimbabwean dollars. That means it's the equivalent of about $300 in greenbacks, based on the unofficial exchange rate.

Zimbabwe, embroiled in a bitter dispute over the results of last month's presidential elections, is said to have the world's highest rate of inflation.

The 21-year-old victim in this case is being treated for his injuries, according to the state-run newspaper.
