RespectaBULL Posted November 20, 2007 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 211 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 10/15/2007 Share Posted November 20, 2007 excuse me? Selvies performance has not dropped. He has drawn the best blockers and even gets double teamed most of the time now. Its not a matter of him slowing down, its just the other teams are desperate to contain him. If I was a DE and Offensive Lines knew my name 3 weeks in advance and were atching all kidns of tape on me, I'd be proud as hell. Don't knock on Selvie just because his numbers have slowed down. A team would have to be full of morons not to do everything they could to stop Selvie. Sounds to me like a recipe for some blitzes. THat would be nice. Selvie can retake the national lead with two sacks against Pittsburgh.Selvie remains the national leader in tackles for loss with 30.5, and needs two TFLs on Saturday to break the NCAA record of 32 set by Western Michigan's Jason Babin in 2003. The NCAA has only kept defensive records since the 2000 season. USF as a team had led the nation in TFLs for much of this year, but the Bulls dropped to third this week, allowing Georgia Tech and Oregon to move ahead.by Greg Auman Absolutely....expect it. Without a Doubt! Watch George slaughter Pitt with GUTS.I predict (4).

They are doubling up on him and holding him every play, as previously mentioned.

Every D-lineman gets held. Just about every play. Just matters when they decide to call it.
