Some of thes bandwagon posters are pissing me off. The Heisman is awarded to the best player in the nation. No where does it state it has to be offensive player. If Selvie finishes with the 25+ sacks and 40-50 tackles for loss, how is he not considered for the award?

if he finished with THOSE numbers in the big east, he'd be a lock.

While the Heisman is suppose to go to the best player, the only defensive player to win was Charles Woodson in 1997.  The reason Woodson, a cornerback, won was because he also had a great year on kick returns.
