Apparently Randy says he is debating between Manhattan Clam Chowder and Boston Clam Chowda, so the owner of Legal Seafood in Boston sent RJ 5 gallons of Boston Clam Chowda to help him with his decision.

I hope he picks boston, but i feel he is favoring the bronx right now.

Berkowitz casts line for hurler

Legal Sea Foods top cod Roger Berkowitz has dispatched 5.1 gallons of his award-winning clam chowdah to Arizona Diamondbacks hurler Randy Johnson to lure No. 51 away from the Evil Empire. The Red Sox superfan, responding to Johnson's joke about being ``torn between the Manhattan clam chowder and the Boston clam chowder,'' thought he'd pitch in to help Randy make that decision ASAP. . . .

     Veteran 7News cameraman Joe Natale is taking a break from the streets, but not from the blood-and-twisted-metal beat. We hear he's taken leave (perhaps of his senses) to hit the road with Ozzfest! Joe will travel with Unearth, his fave Boston metal heads, as their drum tech and videographer. The band's ``Oncoming Storm'' CD hit stores this week. Can their tour DVD be far behind???

     And did you hear that Kathleen Turner, last seen in Boston in the buff in ``The Graduate,'' will return in February with the pre-Broadway run of ``Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf’' at the Wilbur Theatre?

     Finally, how 'bout a walk-on role in Gloucester res Whoopi Goldberg's new movie, ``Under My Skin''? Or, do you know a guy who needs a complete makeover of body, wardrobe and bachelor pad? Those are just two items up for grabs at the Courageous Sailing Center's 8th Annual Make A Mark Gala's auction tomorrow starting at 6 p.m. at the Charlestown Navy Yard. Ahoy.

I went to a legal seafoods in Jersey a month ago when I was working in NYC. Hated the place but am beginning to like them now.

My parents went there last July and said it was pretty good.  I've never personally been there, but they are ok in my book.  ;D

Legal is the absolute best.  I've never been disappointed with the food, and the service has always been top notch.

It is at the top of my recommended restaurant list, just ahead of Bern's.
