It is the longest TD run of his career, the longest by a USF player this season, the longest TD run by a quarterback in USF history and tied for the second longest rushing TD in USF history ... He is tied with Jermaine Clemons, who had an 80 yard run vs. Kentucky Wesleyan in the program’s inaugural game on Sept. 6, 1997 ... The USF rushing record is 86 by Rafael Williams vs. Valparaiso on Sept. 12, 1998.* Grothe’s third quarter touchdown was his 10th of the season, which is a USF single season record for QB ... It also marks the first time in USF history that the Bulls have had two players rush for 10 or more TD in the same season ... Freshman RB Mike Ford also came into the game with 10 rushing TD.
