Eastbay's got a special going where they've got the two pieces (boo) of USF merchandise they've got on sale--a hoody and a winter hat. Might be a good pickup! Search South Florida in their search box.

If my friend goes to Pitt for law school, expect yours truly to be there.

Unless they play that game during the day and you get WVU-level lucky on the weather, you'll need more than a hoody to survive the Pittsburgh game.

Yeah, but you can layer on under the hoody... particularly effective if your primary winter jacket isn't green and you still wanna represent. You can throw on the hat and you're good to go!

Watch Beal's also. My wife has picked up a couple of scarves and beanie's in a package for about six bucks.

GO BULLS!

So...the Pitt game will be cold?  For real?  It's not even December!!!

I expect to be at the Pitt game as well--it's Thanksgiving weekend and I'll be doing the Delaware-Maryland rounds, so Pitt's a decent detour (I did the same for WVU this past year).

As for the temperature, I'd expect it to be what I typically consider football weather--fall/winter temperatures. That's what I had planned for for WVU and I was pleasantly surprised. And of course, I did get spoiled for a few years watching football games down in Tampa. ;-)

I moved to Florida 18 years ago, and the weather during a November game back then wouldn't have fazed me in the least.  Now, when the temperature gets below 60 I need a jacket.

If you are used to Florida winters you do need to consider that.  The best thing to do is layer clothing.  Also important gloves and a hat.  If the head is warm and the hands are warm, you can deal with anything, especially watching your team beat the **** out of their opponent.  LOL

And remember, you're going to be outside for 4-5 hours straight. You will slowly get colder as the game goes on. I would wear at least one extra layer beyond what you would wear if you were just going to be outside for a few minutes.

I probably couldn't have handled it five years ago, but even the semi-winters we have in Texas have toughened me up. Plus my dad's Minnesota-native blood.
