Pinellas Alumni Chapter Casino Night

Here's an invite to everyone for our 1st ever Casino Night.  It will be on Saturday, May 19th starting at 8 PM.  It is on the campus at the Campus Activities Center (CAC).  Parking will be free on the 2nd-5th floors of the new parking garage located at 3rd St S and 5th Av S.  The CAC is down the road at  1st S.  between 5th and 6th St.  The cost is $25 for members and $35 for non-members.  The cost includes a raffle ticket and a 5000 chip voucher.  There will be a silent auction throughout the night plus one grand prize for which the raffle tickets will be used.  You can acquire more raffle tickets throughout the night with each additional 5000 chips you win.  You can also donate $5 and obtain 5000 chips at any time during the night.  The silent auction will end at 10 and the event will finish up at 11.  There will be Hold 'Em, blackjack, roulette and craps tables.  Coffee and desserts will be provided along with a cash bar.  Proceeds will benefit student programs and scholarships.  Dress is Florida Business casual.  No shorts please.  Please register at http://www.usfalumni.net/ng/Events/RegisterforanEvent/tabid/12698/ctl/registerForEvent/mid/13404/itemID/1140/postReg/false/Default.aspx

Would an officer of the law such as yourself discourage a little side action at an event like this Gene?  I'm not saying it's way more fun to be playing with fake chips when everyone at a poker table antes up a real $20 on the outcome, I'm just saying it might be something to consider.  You know which casino entertainment company is handling this for you by the way?  

Matt, we did a Student Bulls Club trip to Biloxi for basketball one year, and one of our girls got a $100 chip from a crazy Asian guy just for gambling with his money.  I'd be more than willing to throw attractive women $100 chips from this event all day long ;D

That would be a plus, however, we would still have to charge the $35.    

Just so you know, it would be good for the scenery, the dress is not formal for the event.
