Looks like we have plenty to sweat tonight night.  ESPN Bracketology has the women's team as one of the last two in, a 12 seed playing Baylor in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Everyone think good thoughts, and say a small prayer to your favorite deity.  Let's hope we get there!

We better get in or we will get hosed in my opinion. After seeing what happened to Syracuse on the mens side, I have been more worried about the USF women getting the same treatment tonight.

What is the case for them making the field?  I haven't done any research, but I think the only ranked team they beat was at home vs Louisville.  They got blown out many times (UConn, Rutgers, Pitt, etc.) by ranked teams.  They finished tied for 8th in the Big East.  They finished their last 10 games at 4-6.  I know their RPI and SOS is good, but they really didn't do anything that says they belong.  I guess the question is, are there any other teams on the bubble that have done something?

SOS is a key factor... but so is the how hot you were at the end of the season.

Gonna be a nail biter.

My gut says NIT though.

Even though they played UConn tough at home, as well as LSU... there were too many poor games against the top teams to make the closer losses count as positives.

You'd think they would want to showcase Jessica Dickson, but I don't know if they did enough at the end of the year.  I hope the Big East has someone in that selection room fighting for them, unlike Syracuse.
