We wanted to, back when I worked for CAB. I seem to remember that the problem was strictly logistical--getting a cable hookup to the location or something.

I tried to organize this with SBC 2 years ago or so.  I talked to everyone and it just couldn't happen.  They don't have cable connections out there, we couldn't get cable to be set up for only that one game.  Also, the drinking that Eric mentioned.  I tried really hard to make it work and it just couldn't happen.

Just remembered.  I tried to get this organized for the 04 Louisville game.

In a bar, it's easier to control underage drinking.

If underage people wanted to drink, they'll find a way. There is tons of underage drinking at tailgates. I don't think drinking would be a huge problem if they did this like motl.
