Sound equipment, safes, guitars and money were taken in the break-ins. The losses of the churches in Hillsborough are estimated at $10,000. Some items were recovered in Orlando pawnshops, police said. Twelve churches in Polk were hit Dec. 11-17, according to the Lakeland Police Department.
